European and Spanish newspaper publishers gather in Seville for Autumn Meeting on November 6, 2009

ENPA – European Newspaper Publishers’ Association will be holding its Autumn General Assembly meeting in Seville from 5 to 6 November, 2009. The event will be organized together with ENPA’s Spanish member association AEDE.
ENPA which has its headquarters in Brussels is an international non-profit association representing 5200 national, regional and local newspaper titles from 25 European countries. European newspapers are sold or distributed in 150 million copies every day and these copies are read by over 300 million Europeans daily. Newspapers online have tens of millions of unique daily visitors.
ENPA delegates from the 25 European countries as well as Spanish publishers and other invited guests will first gather to a seminar which will deal with the online business models of newspapers. The General Assembly meeting will take place on the 6th November when the ENPA delegates will first hear from Miguel Angel Navarro, General Secretary for European Union Affairs. Thereafter the Assembly will discuss and decide upon the official, statutory and business related matters.
